All the latest updates were installed, but I'm wondering if there isn't one that could have caused the issue, since we encountered an issue with an update a few weeks ago that prevented us to print images. I also verified that we do have enough space available on the server disks and there is plenty of RAM available as well. I tried the steps mentioned under but I can't do the first part since we're using remote desktop, hence no display adapter setting available. For about a week or two, we're running into an issue where Windows Photo Viewer from Server 2012 R2 will give the error "windows photo viewer can't display this picture because there might not be enough memory" for several images.
